Michael Schatz is an associate attorney at Silbowitz, Garafola, Silbowitz & Schatz, LLP, a New York City law firm concentrating almost exclusively in plaintiff’s personal injury matters. He joined the firm in 2024.

Mr. Schatz negotiates settlements and litigates these claims in the areas of motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, slip/trip and fall, elevator accidents, construction accidents, medical malpractice, product liability, and dangerous drugs.

During law school, Mr. Schatz served as a Staff Editor for the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. In his final semester, he participated in the Pro Bono Scholars Program, working with the Hiscock Legal Aid Society on unemployment insurance benefit claims. Mr. Schatz also gained valuable experience through summer positions, including a judicial clerkship with a New York County Supreme Court Judge and a legal internship at Morgan & Morgan.
