Greenburgh, NY (October 25, 2018) – In Greenburgh, a fatal motor vehicle accident took place on the Sprain Brook Parkway. Police have been investigating the accident since yesterday, October 24 around 4:00 p.m.
At the time, 62-year-old Denis Mays was operating his Infiniti on the highway when he was involved in a collision. He then fled the scene of the initial collision and struck a 2015 Toyota while trying to move into another lane.
Mays continued into a further lane and struck two additional vehicles. Denis Mays lost his life at the scene of the accident and the other parties received a variety of injuries. Many of them were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
