Bronx, NY (October 23, 2018) – In the Bronx, three people were injured in an ambulance accident involving an FDNY ambulance. The ambulance was on the way to a call at the time. It slammed into the side of an optical store.
The accident took place today, October 23, around 7:30 a.m. on East Fordham Road at Elm Place. The ambulance ran into a Honda Civic before it struck a store. An occupant in the Civic and two personnel inside the ambulance were injured in the crash.
The manager of the store that was struck said that there was great damage but the store is insured. The accident is still being investigated at this time.
