Olean, NY (July 11, 2018) – Around 1:45 p.m., a three-car crash happened in Olean that led to only minor injuries. The accident took place on West State Street near North Seventh Street.
The parties involved were identified as 17-year-old Rose Olson, 79-year-old John Mulryan, and 17-year-old Leigha Marie Haberly.
At the time of the incident, Olson allegedly struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Mulryan. His vehicle was then forced into the rear-end of the third vehicle, which was being driven by 17-year-old Haberly.
Olson told police that the accident happened when she took her eyes off of the road for a second before the collision. She was cited with following too closely by police after their investigation concluded.
