One man was seriously injured in a serious electric scooter accident that took place in the city. Police are currently investigating and looking out for more information on the crash.
41-year-old George Garbikas was riding his scooter at the time on Monday around 8:30 p.m. when he suddenly crossed into the path of a Toyota. The other driver was exiting the roadway at the time.
Garbikas was not wearing a helmet at the time and he suffered serious injuries. He was immediately taken to the hospital. He was cited for driving under the influence at the accident scene.
