In Great Barrington, a New York City man was charged when a woman’s life was taken in an accident. The two-car crash happened over the weekend.
64-year-old Annemarie Bushka was killed in the accident caused by 68-year-old Robert Bacigalupi from NYC. The accident happened when Bacigalupi crossed the line into her lane and slammed directly into her vehicle. The accident was so serious that it closed down lanes of traffic.
Bushka died at the scene of the accident. Bacigalupi was taken to a medical center with non-life-threatening injuries. As of Sunday night, his condition is unknown. The crash is still being investigated and charges are pending.
